So here is yet another request I got from Shadz-the-Fox and I do hope this is to your liking. I struggle with human anatomy, a major reason I rarely include humans in any of these, and Lucario was an interesting challenge. It isn’t overly human like so I found I was able to do the mor eanimal features pretty easily but some of the other things like the arms were tricky to pull off for me. I was supposed to draw Chespin tickling Lucario but I never could get it to look right with that (Chespin usually looked good though), so instead I went with a pun, I kind of like this concept actually and I might do a few more with Chespin here finding “creative” means to win battles, may even become a staple of my stuff if it becomes popular amongst you fellows.

On a side note, I like Chespin’s design, a lot of people don’t but I like it, I find it simplistic enough to not feel overly forced and I also like the face, it’s very expressive and has lots of chance to make him/her express emotions. It looks like a Pokemon to me, cute features, exaggerated proportions, practical but with a cartoon feel to it. I also like Fennekin and Froakie too, I’d say I like Fennekin the best but I like them all.
